Carpe Diem!

Passion.  Vision.  Adventure.  Words -- concepts -- I've mulled over and over in my mind, how do these play out specifically in our homeschool group? ever since Lisa and I teamed up together to begin this group anew.  Leadership.  (I write this as my son sits next to me and asks about our vision and direction for the remainder of the school year; We've finished our curriculum...  Ah, yes, leadership...)

I am mindful of the fact that I have my children for a season.  A short season.  That now is the time to invest in, train, and guide them.  It's a daunting responsibility.  One that requires intentionality and purposeful decisions. 

It is this reason that I am eager to team up with like-minded families -- to be a group that comes alongside one another to encourage and support one another in our parenting.  To share ideas and perspectives and network to build a community of homeschool families with an abundance of creativity, leadership, passion, vision.  A community which views learning as a lifelong adventure.

I look forward to getting to know you all better.
